Welcome to the Jungle!
Welcome to this one of a kind jungle retreat! Immerse your self for 4 nights/ 5 days in the Costa Rican jungle where you'll get to unwind, relax and experience local indigenous tribal ceremonies during the retreat. During your stay at the Samasati retreat center, you'll be immersed in the soothing sounds of the jungle, away from the hustle and bustle of every-day life.
In this immersive experience, you'll participate in a series of carefully curated workshops, ceremonies and techniques designed to help you break free from limitations and embrace your highest potential.
The vibrant town of Puerto Viejo is only 15 minutes away, with world class surfing, stunning beaches, Caribbean night life and internationally inspired cuisine!



Accommodations
Guest House Rooms are hostel style rooms with shared bathrooms (one for men and another for women.) and a shared terrace. Perfect for budget conscious travelers, solo travelers or those who are traveling with friends.
The bungalows are little Caribbean style villas with their own private terrace with hammocks and set in their own little garden with views of the Rainforest or Sea or both. Some have an additional bed in a sleeping loft. There are shared bungalows that can sleep up to 4, or private bungalows for two.
All accommodations have fans and screened ventilation allowing for fresh air and Caribbean breezes. Also there are no TVs in the rooms so the sounds, sights and magic of the Rainforest immersion is pure.
You can put down a deposit for $500 to save your spot.


Private Bungalow

These Casitas have windows that open to prime views of the Rainforest or the Caribbean Sea. Each of them is in it’s own secluded area in the forest and has a King bed, a private bathroom, a quiet terrace with a hammock and is set in a little tropical garden with local flora. These Casitas are ideal for couples.

Shared Bungalow
These beautiful bungalows can sleep two to four people.
A perfect option for those wanting a little more privacy.

These beautiful wooden bungalows are built with wood reclaimed from the area within walking distance from the main reception and restaurant area. All have spacious verandas overlooking the Rainforest or the Caribbean Sea. Some have an additional bedroom in a lofted area above the main floor. Beds are either King size, Double or Single size.

Cost: $2100/person (price inlcudes all meals and transportation while in Costa Rica)


Private Room In Samasati Main House
The Guest House is situated just a short walk from the restaurant and reception area. It consists of 5 adjoining private rooms with two shared bathrooms, one for men and another for women. Choose from rooms with either two Single beds or one Double bed. This Guest House is a great option for solo travelers or groups of friends looking for cozy and inexpensive accommodations.

Meals
Our group will dine on internationally inspired all organic cuisine, overlooking the lush rainforest and Caribbean sea.
​
You will be served 3 lovingly prepared and locally sourced meals daily.
​
Breads and pastries are baked fresh daily and dietary accommodations such as gluten free, vegan and sugar free can be made!
​
All meals are included in your ticket price!







What to Bring

Warm Sunny Days: swimsuits, sunblock, hat, sunglasses, water bottle, flip-flops.

Rainy Jungle Days: socks, sweatshirts,& sweatpants, poncho.

Hikes: sturdy hiking shoes, bug repellant, backpack.

Toiletries: the center provides organic liquid soap, shampoo & conditioner. All other necessary items you will need to bring.

Other: Cozy clothes, flashlight, Journal, pens, day bag to carry your things back and forth to meditation hall.

Option 1- Private room in guest house-

Travel Information
Airport
After arriving to the San Jose airport, you will need to take another local flight to Limon, Costa Rica which is only 20 minutes from Somasati Retreat Center. After registration, your flight and taxi arrangements will be made for you! We've got you covered! You'll receive this information via email.
Most guests arriving to Costa Rica will fly into Juan Santamaria Airport (SJO) in San Jose. This international airport is a short 90 minutes of travel via domestic flight to Limon airport with a shuttle ride to Samasati Retreat center Samasati. The domestic flight and shuttle (both ways) to Samasati are included in your ticket price.

Local Fight
This flight is about 30 mins to Limon airport, which is closes to Samasati. Sansa recommends you land at least 90 minutes before the departure of the flight, but our guests have made it with an hour to spare if you want to take that chance.

International flight is not included.
